Erma’z Cargo values your trust and protecting your private information is our priority. This statement of privacy applies to https://ermazcargo.com and Erma’z Cargo and governs how information about you is obtained and used. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Erma’z Cargo include Erma’z Cargo. and https://ermazcargo.com. The Erma’z Cargo website s an International Ocean Cargo and Shipping Solutions site. By using the Erma’z Cargo website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. 

Collection of your Personal Information

In order to better provide you with the products and services offered on our Site, Erma’z Cargo may collect personally identifiable information, such as your: 

First and Last Name, Mailing Address, E-mail Address, Phone Number and Signature.

For Erma’z Cargo’s services online, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction. Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through Erma’z Cargo’s public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others. We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available on the Site. These may include: (a) registering for an account on our Site; (b) sending us an email message; (c) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services on our Site. We will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future. 

Use of your Personal Information

Erma’z Cargo collects and uses your personal information to operate its website and deliver the services you have requested. Erma’z Cargo may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Erma’z Cargo and its affiliates. 

Sharing Information with third Parties .

Erma’z Cargo does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. Erma’z Cargo may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Erma’z Cargo, and they are required to maintain confidentiality of your information. Cargo may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Erma’z Cargo or the Site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Erma’z Cargo; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect personal safety users of Erma’z Cargo, or the public. 

Tracking Behavior 

Erma’z Cargo may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within Erma’z Cargo, in order to determine what Erma’z Cargo services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within Erma’z Cargo to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area. 

Automatically Collected Information 

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Erma’z Cargo. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access time and referring website address. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Erma’z Cargo website.

Erma’z Cargo secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Erma’z Cargo uses the following methods for this purpose:

Right to Deletion 

Subject to certain exceptions set out below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will: 

Delete your personal information from our records; and Direct any service providers to delete your personal information from their records. 

Please note that we may not be able to comply with requests to delete your personal information if it is necessary to:

Children Under Thirteen 

Erma’z Cargo does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website. 

Email and other Communications 

From time to time, Erma’z Cargo may contact you via email (or another communications channel such as text) for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email (or any other communications channel used by Erma’z Cargo) Clients may unsubscribe from such communications by replying “STOP”. 

External Data Storage Sites 

We may store your data on servers provided by party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted. 

Changes to this Statement 

Erma’z Cargo reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our site, and/or by updating any privacy information in this page. Your continued use of the Site and/or Services available through this site after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgement of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.

REFUND POLICY

RETURN POLICY:

If a service associated with shipment of items--including packing, crating, or the actual shipment of the items--has been performed, then it is non-refundable. If a service has not yet been performed, it is eligible for a refund upon successful cancellation. All refunds associated with a shipment will be made after the shipment items have been retrieved from Erma’z Cargo premises by the shipper or rebooked onto a future Erma’z Cargo shipment. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy below for more information on how to cancel a shipment service.

Cancellation Policy:

After items are shipped and picked up from Erma’z Cargo’s premises, all invoices are final, and accordingly, non-cancellable, and non-refundable.

Clients have the option to request for cancellation of a shipment at least 24 hours before the items are shipped to their final destination. Cancellation requests must be made in writing through the channels provided on the Contact Us page and must clearly state the Shipper’s information, the Vessel Number and the Invoice Number. Upon successful cancellation of the shipping service, all the money paid by the client (except money paid for services that have already been offered such as pick-up, packing and storage) will be refunded after the items have been retrieved from Erma’z Cargo premises by the client.

After cancellation of a shipment, the client is responsible for all costs associated with retrieving their items from Erma’z Cargo premises and such items are subject charges as stipulated in the "Storage fees/ Abandoned Cargo" and “In and Out" clauses of the Terms and Conditions

TERMS OF SERVICE

Payment

            All shipments are prepaid shipments. Full payment of the estimated cost of shipment is required before shipment items can be accepted at Erma’z Cargo premises or picked up for shipment. (A 50% deposit of the estimated shipping cost may be considered at the discretion of the Erma’z Cargo manager). Full payment is due upon presentation of the freight invoice. Shipment items for which payment is not received by the due date will be subject to storage fees and may be considered abandoned and subsequently discarded as per the "Storage Fees / Abandoned Cargo" stipulation in the Terms and Conditions.

Banking Fees and Other Charges

            There is a 4% processing fee on all Card or CashApp Transactions. You (the client) are responsible for all banking fees associated with the wire transfer, which may include not only the fees charged by the sending bank (typically $35-$50 per wire transfer), but also the fees of intermediary banks, through which the money travels before reaching our account (add another $10-$20 for each correspondent bank). Our receiving bank (Bank of America) has no control over intermediary banks fees.

Transit Time

            We cannot guarantee on time arrivals, mainly because of factors that are beyond our control like Weather, Security, Port Delays or other problems. However, be assured that we will make every effort to have it on time and in good shape.

Documentation

            It’s the client's responsibility to fill out an accurate Packing List Form and the current Disclaimer Form, and submit them Online, in Person by Mail or Fax. If you are exporting Personal Effects by Air Cargo or Ocean Freight, we will require a copy of your Personal Identification document like a valid Driver License or Passport. Please note that we cannot ship Freight without proper Documentation.

Export Charges

            Because of tight security, U.S. Customs or TSA MAY require your Cargo to be inspected and there could be charges related to such action. These charges will be billed to You (The shipper). Shipping charges do NOT include Insurance coverage.

In and Out fees

            Items sent or dropped off to Erma’z Cargo premises which are not shipped and need to be retrieved by client as stipulated in the "Cancellation policy" clause in Terms and Conditions are subject to this fee. This fee must be paid by client before items can be released by Erma’z Cargo. This fee is $50.00 for the first 50 pounds and $0.50 per pound for every incremental pound after that for air freight shipments. It is $5 per cubic foot for ocean freight shipments. This is in addition to any other chargeable fee that may apply to the shipment or invoice for services already offered like Pick- up fees, Packing fees and Storage fees.

Pick-up Charges

            If applicable, We require over 50 pounds (23kgs) to organize pick-ups or drop-offs to our various drop -off points across the USA. Residential/ store pick-ups are at an additional cost. These charges depend on size and weight of the items to be shipped plus distance from our pick-up agent/ location. We require a deposit for all shipments before or upon pick-up of items. Small packages can be mailed to our USA offices. 

Loss or Damage of Goods

            Erma’z Cargo is not liable for loss or damage resulting from;

Articles of unusual value Insects or vermin, deterioration, dampness of atmosphere, extreme temperature, ordinary wear or tear improper packaging perishable Commodities Checks: Erma’z Cargo will not pay for the face value of lost or damaged checks Fluorescent tubes or bulbs Data stored on any media Acts of God, natural disasters, war risks, acts of terrorism, nuclear damage, acts of public authorities, riots, strikes, civil unrest, disruptions in air or ground transportation networks, adverse weather conditions, or misplacement of items by air or ground transportation carriers Items that are seized by authorities as contraband or otherwise

Contraband Items

            Contraband refers to any item that, relating to its nature, is considered too dangerous or offensive in the eyes of the legislator and is accordingly illegal for import or export. Erma’z Cargo will not ship contraband items. The classification of an item as contraband may vary from country to country and it is the responsibility of the shipper to declare ALL the items in their shipment and to confirm with Erma’z Cargo that the items they intend to ship are not contraband in the destination country. Contraband items sent to Erma’z Cargo will be retrieved by the shipper at the shipper's expense upon notification and will be subject to storage fees or even discarded as per the "Storage Fees / Abandoned Cargo" stipulation in the Terms and Conditions. Contraband items include but not limited to;

Used and refurbished electronics Used home appliances Lithium batteries Drones Corrosive liquids (acid)Weapons Fake bills and paper money Cigars and hookah accessories Flammable liquids Drugs Adult toys Camouflage clothes

Late payment fees

            Items shipped by Erma’z Cargo with outstanding balances on the invoices are subject to late payment fees if balances are not cleared within 7 days after pick- up notice of the shipment has been issued to client. Late payment fees are $50 after which Storage fees will apply as stipulated under the "Storage fees/ Abandoned cargo" clause of the Terms and Conditions.

Quotation

            All quotes are subject to confirmation and carrier acceptance at the time of booking. The rates confirmed at the time of booking are final. A quote is not valid if rates change before client actually tenders related shipment. A quote is based on weight and dimensions provided by client (the quoted weight) and is subject to change if the tendered weight and dimensions vary from the quoted weight and dimensions. By and upon booking related shipment, client agrees to pay the following additional charges, if applicable, which are not included in this quote unless specifically stipulated.

Local Delivery Charge

            If applicable, our service is up to our designated office premises in the various destination countries. A client has an option of requesting for door delivery services, at an additional cost. These charges are levied and service is coordinated by our personnel in the various destination countries when items arrive.

Destination Charges

            All international shipments are subject to Destination Fees: Custom Duties, Taxes, (if applicable) Handling, Terminal / Port Fees, Storage and Door Delivery which are beyond our control. These charges vary according to destination. Although our rates are customs inclusive unless otherwise indicated. Country and are accepted practices in the shipping industry. Although our rates are customs inclusive, unless otherwise indicated, some high value items attract additional costs during customs clearance process. These additional costs are the responsibility of the client.

Packing Charges

            If applicable, Online purchases are often delivered in multiple packages. Such items require consolidation to reduce cost to client and to be secured for international shipping. Some items will require special packing and or crating. These charges are valid and will be applied to client's invoice before shipping

Purchase Processing Fees

            If applicable, these fees are applied when Erma’z Cargo makes purchases on client's behalf. Details available upon request.

Erma’z Cargo Protection Plan

            Erma’z Cargo automatically protects each shipment against loss or damage up to a value of US$100 without a declared value. If the value of goods shipped exceeds US$100, a client can declare a value up to $20,000 and purchase a Erma’z Cargo Protection Plan for 5% of the declared value against loss or damage of shipped items. If no value is declared, the maximum refund for loss or damage to a package or international shipment is US$100. If the Erma’z Cargo Protection Plan is not purchased, the maximum refund for loss or damage to a package or international shipment is US$100. Reimbursement for loss or damage will be based solely on the value declared at the beginning of the transaction and a protection plan is purchased. Declared value is valid as long as the cargo is in the care, custody, and control of Erma’z Cargo and Erma’z Cargo will only be responsible for loss or damage of items from the time package is delivered to Erma’z Cargo premises for shipping to the point when the items are delivered to the client/Shipper (or the Shippers designee) at the collection point in the destination country

Storage Fees / Abandoned Cargo

            Items purchased online and shipped to our Erma’z Cargo warehouse that are not shipped within 30 days are subject to storage fees. Items delivered to Erma’z Cargo premises which are not shipped due to non-payment or classified as contraband, will be subject to Storage fees and / or In and Out fees if not picked up within 30 days. In addition, items shipped by Erma’z Cargo that are not retrieved due to non-payment or otherwise will be subject to Storage fees if not picked up within 14 days of arrival at destination country. Such items will be considered abandoned if not retrieved within 30 days. Abandoned items will be discarded or donated. Storage fees are $5.00 per cubic foot per month for ocean freight shipments and $10.00 per pound per month for air freight shipments. These fees will accrue on a monthly basis.
